Winfield found a wonderful teacher with a variety of experiences
when Ms. Gina Draper was hired 4 years ago. She began teaching Jr.
High Science, but moved into the 4th and 5th grade to teach Math
and Science. Besides being in the Texas School System for 6 years;
she has a variety of work experiences that she brings to the
classroom. Ms. Draper has worked on a dairy farm, been an assistant
to a veterinarian, worked in a restaurant, and also in the criminal
justice field in substance abuse, probation and parole, and the
prison system.
She has two great girls. Her oldest, Brandy, is 24 and a dental
hygienist, and her youngest is Brea, who is 14 years old and in the
8th grade at Winnsboro.
