A Feast for All

The air was filled with laughter and the smell of a Thanksgiving feast, as Winfield ISD opened the cafeteria doors for this annual event. Many parents and grandparents came to have dinner with their children.
Thanksgiving dinner at Winfield is an annual event, where the school invites every student's parents and grandparents to have lunch with their child. This event takes 3 days to get ready for, and the faculty and staff did a wonderful job.
This year the school fed about 270 parents, grandparents and students. With such a numerous turnout, it is plain to see that the parents in Winfield are very supportive to both their children and the school. Everyone had plenty to eat and some even ate too much. Too bad we can't have a Thanksgiving meal every week.
